Library Legislative Day

Make your library voice heard! The Delaware Library Association will host an in-person Legislative Action Day. The event is an opportunity for members to join with library staff and library supporters across the state to build support for our Delaware libraries. You’ll be able to network and connect with your state representatives to advocate for library issues.

Legislative Day is being held Thursday, March 28, 2024
9:00am to 3:00pm
Dover Public Library – 35 Loockerman Plaza, Dover, DE 19901 and Legislative Hall – 411 Legislative Ave, Dover, DE 19901

The day will start at the Dover Public Library for a continental brunch networking event, doors open at 9:00 am, the program begins at 9:30am. At 11:00am, participants will travel to Legislative Hall for the following events:

• Meetings with your state representatives
• Tabling and proclamation event
• Tours of Legislative Hall
• Cookies with legislative aides
