September is Library Card Sign Up Month
This year for Library Card Sign Up month, the Delaware Library Association, the Friends of Delaware Libraries, and the Delaware Division of Libraries on behalf of Delaware Libraries are proud to partner with the EveryLibrary Institute to launch a statewide campaign to encourage Delawareans to get a library card.
You can support the campaign by using the hashtag #GetALibraryCardDE on social media and encouraging people to sign up for a library card as well as sharing content from GetALibraryCardDE.org. Delaware Libraries social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram & Twitter) will have a new post a day. We ask that you share these on your social media to spread the word. New content is sent out regularly during the month, so make sure to support these messages.
Please continue to engage your local communities as you normally would and encourage library card sign ups through your usual channels. Please continue to use the #GetALibraryCardDE hashtag and GetALibraryCardDE.org throughout the month. If you have more ideas to help promote library card sign-ups, please feel free to email Patrick Sweeney from the EveryLibrary Institute and Michelle Hughes.
